What's up with ELC Shanghai? What is going on next?

 

After 9 years of success, ELC Shanghai has suddenly and unexpectedly closed. This action has been undertaken by its founder due to health reasons.  Since the very first day the Expat Learning Center opened its doors, Franc Péret created and managed the Photography classes. This has granted Franc the chance (in 9 years) to teach and mentor more than 500+ students, coming from all over the world.

Photography was by far the most successful of all classes at ELC. For the past few years, every semester, Franc was teaching to an average of 85 students split into 7 photography classes. In addition Franc also ran a unique Film Making Course with a total of 9 short movies completed with his students.

It is so rewarding to feel students excitement while I am giving my knowledge, tips and tricks.

Despite the closure of ELC, many of Franc’s students have been asking him to carry on his teaching to help further improve and develop their skill and understanding of photography. As Franc states: “Teaching became and still is a big part of my life, a second nature which I dearly love.  It is so rewarding to feel students excitement while I am giving my knowledge, tips and tricks.”

Franc is working as a professional photographer since 1989 and as a filmmaker since 2000. He is also a Director and Cameraman shooting TV Commercials, Event, Music and Corporate videos. Now Franc is running his own structure to continue teaching Photography and Filmmaking in the way he has done successfully for the past several years.  You can get all information by visiting his website: www.francperet.com
